Dimitrios Mavrakis is Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics, experienced in managment and policy formulation of corporations and organizations (ex member of University of Athens senate, minister consultant, member of international missions e.t.c.)

He has been in charge of the following research groups:

1. Energy policy group.

2. Rational use of energy (DSM).

3. G.I.S/G.P.S Applications group.
