   • i-Marine is providing a highly efficient e-Infrastructure to accelerate data discovery, exchange, and analysis, tools and platforms that facilitates scientific discovery.
   • D4Science I & II aim to establish networking, grid-based, and data-centric e-Infrastructures.
   • EGEE's project Diligent offers Digital libraries over the Grid.
   • Eolus, the IaaS-cloud middleware I am developing using JEE and OpenNebula. Deployed at the MaDgIK lab cluster.

2. Distributed Systems Research

   under the supervision of Professor Mema Roussopoulos at the University of Athens.
   Project I worked for:
   • Nefeli investigates algorithms and mechanisms for efficient allocation, deployment, and management of computing resources in clouds.

3. Athena Research and Innovation Center

   Athens, Greece. Project I worked for:
   • The EarthServer Project is establishing open access and ad-hoc analytics on extreme-size Earth Science data, based on and extending leading-edge Array Database technology.

4. Plasmas, Electric Beam and Non-Liniar Optics Laboratory

   Technical University of Athens. Involved in the European Fusion Program (EURATOM) as an external associate under the supervision of Dr. Pagonakis and Prof. J. Vomvoridis.
