"11.10.2010 : After having analyzed the submitted documents, I hav the following remarks :

- Use of resources report : please put in the right order the particpants (like in NEF) not to mix the amounts reported.

[elto] NKUA will take care of changing the order.

Please also give a detailed explanation of the adjustments made by partner (the table at the end of the report is not sufficient).

[elto] MTW, CNR and FUSP to provide explanations on the adjustments to previous period

- For the following partners, NKUA and CSIR, the indirect costs declared are exactly at 7% which is the max. reimbursement rate.  The "real" indirect costs amount should be declared and not only the max. reimbursed amount.  Please correct the form C accordingly.

[elto] NKUA and CSIR to correct the form

- Partner 3 (CNR) : receipts declared (112.323 €) seems to be the amount received after the first payment.  Please correct if needed as this is not to be considered as receipt.

[elto] please explain if the above is the case and correct accordingly

- Partner 4 (ERNET) : no indirect costs declared.  Please correct if needed or confirm that no indirect costs will be claimed.

[elto] please either add the indirect cost amount or also delete the maximum reimbursement of the indirect costs

- Partner 5 (FUSP) : 17.472 € requested to EU in adjustments (but max. EU contribution at 0 € !).  This amount has already been requested last period.  Please correct as this looks like a dubble request.

[elto] this was a long discussion we had, also with the commission. I guess we have, one more time, to explain to them that this is only a shift of amounts from “Other” to “Coordination” and we did this after consulting our officer.

In light of the above and with reference to Article II.5.3(c) of the grant agreement, the Commission has suspended the 105-day time-limit for payment until the additional information/clarification has been submitted.

First, you have to submit the NEF session (I checked what is entered and it seems that only the reports are missing).

Second, I'll check the costs submitted and if there is no remark, I'll close the session and only then you'll get the forms C to be signed (you'll have 21 days to send them back to me)

If there is a remark, I'll reject the NEF session with comments for correction.

When I receive the signed forms C (no correction should be done on those forms C !), I'll continue the payment procedure.

I am writing to you with regards the final steps for the BELIEF-II project. On October 3rd we submitted the final report and the declaration by the scientific coordinator (Yannis Ioannidis). We still have to send to you the signed Forms C. In order to do this, however, the online versions must be finalised, I believe. Could you please let us know, as soon as you have done this, so that we notify the partners? Please also let me know whether I don’t have the right procedure and approach in mind.
