Miltiadis Kyriakakos received his B.Sc. from the
Department of Physics at the University
of Crete, Heraklion, Greece in 1998. In 1999 he
received his M.Sc. in Communication Systems at the Department of Electrical and
Electronic Engineering, University of Wales, Swansea, UK and in 2005 his Ph.D. degree at the University of Athens, Department of Informatics and
Telecommunications. He is a staff member of the Communication Networks
Laboratory and the Research Group of Pervasive Computing. He has participated
in the IST WINE (Wireless Internet NEtworking)
project, the EURESCOM P1101 (“Always On”) project as well as the
FMI (Fixed and Mobile Intergration) project funded by
the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE). His research interests
include Virtual Home Environment architectures, Mobile Agents, Mobile
Applications and Predictive Algorithms for Mobility Management and Resource
Reservation. He is the author of 9 papers in the above areas.
