My name is Christos Lougiakis and I was born on May 30, 1988 in Tripoli, Arcadia, Greece and lived on a nearby village until the age of 3. Then we moved in Athens, Attica where I live since then.

In the year 2006 I graduated from High School and after taking the Panhellenic National Level Examinations I entered the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Athens. Then due to personal reasons I left my studies behind and helped my family bussiness and also worked as a Technician for PC and Network Support until 2011. Then I focused on my studies and graduated in 2016 after writing my undergraduate thesis with subject "Authoring Tool creation for interactive digital narratives application" as part of the European Research Project CHESS.

One of my biggest dreams was to visit CERN, the biggest science project in the world, let alone to work for it. In the year 2014 I had the opportunity to make my dream come true and be a part of this magnificent project, as I worked there for one year, meeting great people and gaining invaluable experience.

My passion is Programming and I am intersted in Software Development, Web Development, Game Development, as well as the design and development of usable, intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
The programming languages I know are: C, C++, Java, Python and the web technologies: HTML, CSS, PHP, JSP, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap and AJAX. I also have very good knowledge of Procedural Programming, Object Oriented Programming, Algorithms and Complexity, Data structures, Database Design and Development, Process Control and Synchronization, Multi-threading, Operating Systems, Compilers, Computer Security, Networks, Human-Computer Interaction, System Analysis and Structured Analysis, Web Application Technologies, Graphics.

I have very good knowledge of the English language and own the First Certificate in English, University of Cambridge. Additionally I had French classes for three months and learned the basics.

My other passion is football. I have been a member of the team Akratitos Ano Liosion from 2001 until 2006 where we were playing at top level. The year of my Panhellenic Exams I stopped playing football to focus on my studies for entering the University. After that I continued playing for a local teams at the amateur level just to keep fit until now.

Other hobbies that I have are: basketball, cycling, ping-pong, books, comics, board games, video games, movies and music.
