About the swan
My name is Kostantine Koukopoulos ( koo-kow-poo-los ), a student at the Informatics Dept. of EKPA. I'm 31 years old, born in Athens of Greco-American origin. Obviously i'm interested in computing in general but I have some other interests too :-).

To the left is a rendering of what I look like. I'm 187 cm high and weigh approximately 88 Kg ( I'm trying to get down to 78 Kg by means of exercise, but I might have to make some sacrifices in my diet too ).
Communication
- I'm an email addict so you can send me email and unless I'm outside the country or something as unusual as that I'll get it almost immediately ( don't count on me responding fast though! ). It's fortunate that i don't get too much email (not more than a screen-full a day ) otherwise I'd probably die of Information Overload. - IM
- I use an instant messaging system called Jabber . The main characteristics of jabber are that it's based on XML and that its architecture permits it to be easily interoperable with other IM systems like ICQ, AIM, Yahoo and MSN. The latter is extremely important to me because I was fed up running a zillion clients to communicate with friends who used different IM systems. With Jabber I can be reached through many IM systems.
- IRC
- I also hang out sometimes on IRC ( channels #hack_konsole, #teipeiraia on any GRNET server ) although not when I'm at school, which is most of the day.
