Theodoros Anagnostopoulos

 

Short CV

 

Theodoros Anagnostopoulos received his first BSc in Informatics from the Department of Informatics and Engineering at the Technical Educational Institute of Athens in 1997. He received his second BSc in Informatics from the Department of Informatics at the Athens University of Economics and Business in 2001. He also received his MSc in Information Systems from the Department of Informatics, Athens University of Economics and Business in 2002. He received his Ph.D in Pervasive Computing from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications in 2012. During the period 2012 – 2014 he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Technical Educational Institute of Athens, Department of Informatics and Engineering in the areas of Distributed Computing and Surveillance Systems.  During the period 2014 – 2015 he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the ITMO University in Russia, Department of Infocommunication Technologies in the areas of Smart Cities and Internet of Things (IoT). Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Oulu in Finland, at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering in the areas of Ubiquitous and Mobile Computing. His current research interests are in the areas of Location Prediction and Time-of-Arrival Estimation of Location Based Services in IoT-enabled Smart Cities.
