AudioAnnotation V.1.0 is an open-source tool for manual segmentation & annotation of audio streams. It can be used for setting the ground truth of an automatic segmentation - classification system. The classes defined i the provided versions (11 classes) are inpsired from the content in movies, though you can change the class definition, as described in the documentation.

You can download the AudioAnnotation Tool here. After extracting the compressed folder, run AudioAnnotationMain m-file. A brief documentation is provided in the compressed folder.
