Short CV

Vassilis Papataxiarhis received his B.Sc. in Informatics from the Department of Informatics & Telecommunications (DIT) at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Greece in 2006 and his M.Sc. in the area of "Advanced Information Systems" from the same department in 2008. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate in the department. He is also a member of the Pervasive Computing Research Group (p-comp) and the Communication Networks Laboratory (CNL) of the NKUA. His research interests are mainly focused on the fields of knowledge representation and reasoning, knowledge extraction in WSN, situation-awareness and Semantic Web technologies.
