Report on the WG 6.3 Workshop in Crete,
Greece
The workshop took place in:
Rithymna Beach Hotel, Rethymnon, Crete, Greece
Sunday August 29 - Wednesday September 1, 1999
The organizer was our very own Yannis Stavrakakis,
now
in the University of Athens.
This is the bi-annual workshop of the IFIP WG6.3
on
Performance of Communication Systems.
The purpose of the workhop is to give the opportunity
to members
of this group, as well as other interested researchers, to present
their current or very recent research in the area of Communication
Networks. The quality of the presentations, the friendly and
relaxed environment, the single-track program structure, the emphasis
on
current or very recent research and the diversity of the topics
presented resulted in a fruitful and memorable meeting.
Photo opportunity during a break.. some participants
are missing!
Big prizes to the first person who can correctly identify all the famous
people in the photo...
