• Systematic exploration of market-, social- and cognitive psychological dimensions inherent in Collective Awareness Platforms and their implications for the design of platforms and user participation in them.

Nov. 2013 - present: (FP7 NoE EINS Open Call Action) COHESION: Cognitive Heuristics for Distributed Resource Allocation/Selection

• Development of efficient distributed resource allocation mechanisms by leveraging heuristic principles of human decision-making.

• Development of foundations for an integrated and interdisciplinary scientific understanding of Internet networks and their co-evolution with society.

• Development of efficient content management techniques that exploit principles of Decision Theory, spanning the areas of Game Theory and Cognitive Psychology, in studying new approaches for service delivery and pervasive computing in urban environments.
